The R-One Mini System by Fanta Dental is a state-of-the-art reciprocating file system specifically designed to deliver efficient, safe, and conservative root canal shaping. Its advanced engineering and compact design allow clinicians to preserve more of the natural tooth structure while achieving optimal shaping outcomes—even in complex anatomies.
In retreatment scenarios, the R-One Mini System truly stands out. The reciprocating motion plays a pivotal role in re-establishing canal patency, facilitating the removal of obturation materials, and navigating previously treated or obstructed canals with enhanced precision and control. This makes it an invaluable tool for endodontists seeking reliability, performance, and minimal invasiveness across both primary treatments and retreatments

The heat treatment also allows us to pre-bend the instrument, making it possible to manage cases where the patient has limited mouth opening, as in this case.

It is made of AF-R wire alloy to increase flexibility and flexural resistance.
The double S cross-section ensures effective cutting. Moreover, the cross-section proves to be very effective in the removal of gutta-percha, especially when combined with reciprocating motion.

Conclusions
This retreatment case highlights how the successful management of narrow and previously treated root canals requires not only advanced clinical skills but also the strategic use of specialized instruments. The R-One Mini System by Fanta Dental proved to be an essential tool in this challenging scenario, offering the ideal combination of flexibility, cutting efficiency, and control. Its reciprocating motion was particularly valuable in re-establishing canal patency and navigating complex, constricted anatomies—allowing for precise, conservative shaping while minimizing the risk of procedural errors. The R-One Mini demonstrated its strength as a reliable and efficient solution in the retreatment of anatomically demanding cases.
