Endodontic treatment might be necessary in case of large decay. In this case, a patient was referred to me to treat the second lower right premolar due to the fact that she lost the existing onlay and started developing symptoms.
As endodontsts we should choose the file as a function of the root canal anatomy of the tooth. In this case, I decided to use the Rising kit by Fanta Dental, a minimally invasive kit composed by five instruments with a different NiTi phase for every file:
RR 17/10
R1 13/03
R2 25/04
R3 30/04
R4 28/05

The files, as it can be seen, have a good cutting efficiency that makes them proceed smoothly inside of the root canal, thanks to the variable cross section and the unique angle. The tip of the file is non cutting to decrease the risk of perforation or wrong path.
The debris are easily removed from apical to coronal, enhancing the shaping experience.

Conclusions
The Rising files seem to be effective in the shaping of root canals.
