Tooth #26

Diagnosis of Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis and Symptomatic Apical Periodontitis was established for the first maxillary molar on a 25 years old female  patient with clear medical history.

The pre-op radiograph indicated a a challenging anatomy on the mesial root with curved and  narrow canals that required extra attention and care to negotiate them.

Video of Shaping procedure

After removing the existing composite restoration and establishing  a correct access into pulp chamber, all canals were identified and  WL was determined.

As you can see the files work smoothly and efficiently inside the canals exhibiting good cutting efficiency and optimal removal of debris.

Conclusions

The new sequence of files from Fanta, AF RISING  appears to be effective in dealing with challenging canals resulting in a successful outcome while respecting and maintaining the original anatomy of the canals.
