The R-One Mini System from Fanta Dental is an advanced reciprocating file system designed for efficient and conservative root canal shaping.
It features a hybrid heat treatment short Sequence for enhanced flexibility and resistance to fatigue, ensuring safer and more predictable shaping.
The regressive taper preserves more cervical dentin, while the double S cross-section maximizes cutting efficiency.
With a safe tip to prevent canal transportation.
As a simple two-file sequence in reciprocating motion, the R-One Mini System offers a streamlined workflow, making it ideal for both experienced clinicians and beginners looking for a short learning curve.
Shaping Sequence for Retreatment of Lower First Molar in a Limited Mouth Opening Case
R1 Mini Kit (5 files)
- 1 piece Preflaring file: 19-05 (optional)
- 2 pieces Mechanical glide path file: 17-04
- 2 pieces Finishing file: 25-06
Case Description:
Retreatment of a lower molar in a patient with limited mouth opening where Mesial canals are untreated and radiographically narrow.
Step-by-Step Shaping Sequence
Orifice Location & Preflaring
- Orifices located under operating microscope then Preflaring with (19-05) file used to coronal enlargement and to facilitate the following shaping steps.
Mechanical Glide Path Preparation using file: 17-04
-Introduced to pre-measured length based on CBCT, followed by Working length confirmation using electronic apex locator (EAL).
Shaping & Apical Finishing
- File: 25-06
- Initially used passively to mid-root level for mid root shaping followed by irrigation and cleaning the file flutes then advanced to full working length for final apical finishing.
Irrigation & Activation
-Sodium hypochlorite (5.25%) between each file.
-Sodium hypochlorite (5.25%) and EDTA 17% for Final flush with along with Sonic and ultrasonic activation to enhance irrigation penetration.
Obturation
•Technique: Modified heat technique with gutta percha and Bioceramic sealer.
Conclusions
The R-One Mini System from Fanta Dental offers efficient and safe root canal shaping with a hybrid heat-treated design for safety. Its regressive taper preserves cervical dentin, while the double S cross-section ensures effective cutting.
