A 51 years old male complaining of sharp pain to cold and during eating in his lower left posterior teeth.
After an accurate diagnosis, the case was managed with a minimally invasive reciprocating rotary system, R One Mini, by FANTA dental.

• Clinically, LL4 responded with intense sharp pain to cold test, While LL5 with negative response to cold. LL4 was negative to percussion, while LL5 had moderate tenderness to percussion.

• Diagnosis: LL4: Symptomatic irreversible pulpitis (SIP) with normal apical tissue. LL5: Previously treated with Symptomatic apical periodontitis (SAP).
• Treatment plan: Root canal treatment for LL4 and root canal retreatment for LL5.

•LL4 been treated with R One Mini reciprocating files, as the manufacturer instructions up to #25/06, while LL5 been retreated also with R One Mini but with modification by skipping file #17/04.

Conclusions
R one Mini by Fanta Dental can be easily used both for initial treatment and retreatment
