Advanced Refinement Course — Hands-On Cadaver Training
An intensive, primarily hands-on cadaver-based masterclass for experienced clinicians who want to master endodontic microsurgery with a teachable, feasible and repeatable approach.

Course description

This two-day hands-on course focuses on real surgical practice on anatomical specimens.
Participants will actively perform:
- Flap design and elevation on cadaver
- Osteotomy and apical resection
- Ultrasonic retro-preparation under magnification
- Root-end filling with bioceramic materials

Each phase is carried out under magnification, following a structured and clinically repeatable protocol to ensure immediate transferability to daily practice, with each participant personally guided by internationally recognized experts in the field.

Today, endodontic microsurgery is no longer a last resort but a predictable, minimally invasive treatment. With CBCT, advanced microsurgical instruments and bioactive materials: success rates exceed 90% providing reliable outcomes and effective tooth preservation.

Learning Objectives

Understanding why endodontics micro-surgery is one of the most important procedures in the endodontic treatment
Understand the surgical technique is respect of the periodontal tissue
Understand the filling materials involved in root end filling and evaluate their appropriateness to given clinical situations
Understand how to improve the healing of the soft tissue
Understand the team approach to surgical endodontics and critically evaluate its implementation in specific context

Prerequisite

Participants must have basic knowledge of endodontic surgery.

This is an advanced-level course and is not suitable for beginners.

Participants must have solid knowledge and prior clinical experience in endodontic surgery. This is an advanced refinement course — it is not suitable for beginners or clinicians without prior surgical experience.
