We often need to retreat teeth where the initial treatment was short from the radiographic terminus of the root. Many times, when we remove the existing filling our files cannot proceed because of an impediment.
The impossibility to gain the patency can lead to the failure of the root canal treatment.

The variable cross section and the position of the blades of the files part of the Harmony sequence reduce coronal taper lock, making them indicated for treating canals with impediments.
